The merger of Hewlett-Packard and Compaq companies has created a new certification program: HP Certified Professional.
The HP Certified Professional Program integrates Compaq and HP's pre-merger programs including:
- Compaq Accredited Professional (ASE)
- HP Certified
- HP STAR
- HP Support
Beginning April 1, 2003 all EMEA pre-merger program exam numbers will begin with "HP0". (Most exam series ID numbers (last 3 numbers) will stay the same, however, a couple of them will change due to overlapping numbers.)
