Q: I'm using personal firewall software. Will these cause problems when I access this system?

A: Some firewall software may block cookies or block traffic on port 443. Pearson VUE uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to ensure that your connection and information are secure from outside inspection. Pearson VUE also uses a session cookie to uniquely identify individual users, and cookies may need to be enabled on your web browser.

Please refer to the instructions for your firewall software to make sure that you are not blocking port 443, which is needed for SSL, and that you can accept cookies from www.catglobal.com.
