Q: How does Pearson VUE keep my personal information secure?

A: Pearson VUE takes every precaution to protect your personal information. To access your Pearson VUE welcome page, you must enter your user ID and password. We store this information in our database in an encrypted format. If you do not share your personal information with anyone, no one will be able to access your information.

Pearson VUE security features include:

  • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol is used whenever personal or confidential data is transmitted, ensuring that your connection and information are secure.
  • 128-bit encryption of this data makes your information undecipherable as it passes over the Internet.
  • Automatic log out if you are inactive on our website for more than 20 minutes.
